Coronavirus / COVID-19 Response
for your
Coronavirus / COVID-19 Response
Organisations around the world are facing an unprecedented challenge presented by the coronavirus / COVID-19 outbreak. Working arrangements have been severely disrupted with millions of workers now operating remotely and many now moving to a return-to-work phase.
We are in uncharted territory, so establishing a feedback mechanism around your response is critical.
We are implementing the following mechanisms for our clients – one or more of these may be appropriate to you.
We are in uncharted territory, so establishing a feedback mechanism around your response is critical.
We are implementing the following mechanisms for our clients – one or more of these may be appropriate to you.
- Incorporate a COVID-19 response feedback section into your existing Employee Pulse Survey. At the very least establish a baseline metric for employee satisfaction with the measures being taken, and capture open-ended suggestions for any further steps or resources that are required to facilitate work in the new context. Automate alerts to team leads and / or department heads giving them real-time feedback on the progress of the response and suggestions specific to their area. This is critical to enabling an agile response.
- If you do not have an existing Pulse Survey, you can deploy a short, topic-specific employee survey covering the points above and more if appropriate. Keep this short and tightly focused – maximum four minutes completion time. As with option 1, automate alerts to team leads and / or department heads giving them real-time feedback on the progress of the response and suggestions specific to their area.
- Create a continuous feedback area on your organisation’s intranet where employees can leave feedback and suggestions at any time
